Sisters: Lerato and Lesedi

Lerato (meaning love) When a dog licks you it’s like a I-love-you kiss, but totally unexpected and very wet and it fills your body with smiles. Dogs love cuddles and hugs and stories. If you lie beside them and tell them a story they don’t move until the very end and you’ll probably get another lick to say thank you.


Lesedi (meaning light) Every Saturday morning we have pancakes. Sometimes with fruit and yoghurt, sometimes with chocolate spread, or cheese, or mince, or peanut butter and banana, or honey and nuts. Yummy, yay. You can have it with sugar and cinnamon and lemon juice, but we like to try new things.

Yougo

I love to go down the slide in the park but you get to the bottom too soon. It would be wonderful if it went into a curve, winding through a forest, amongst colourful birds, plunging into the sea with shells and fishes, then gliding out into the clouds, over the mountains and straight into your bed. Without even bathing or brushing your teeth. Tee hee.

I cannot ignore

As I did before 

So went to the store

Got me pencils galore

Hi Harry. I think what we should do is lie on the bed, side-by-side. You close your eyes and I will tell you stories, stories that my gran once told me, stories from a book and stories I make up. That’s how dreams start, when you’re listening to other people’s stories and you imagine your own adventures.
